Delete your Doughie account

You can delete your account and personal data at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

  1. Open Doughie and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. You’re logged out and deletion starts right away.

By email

  1. Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
  2. Use the subject “Delete my account”.
  3. You get a confirmation, and the account is deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, and Swish or Vipps numbers
  • Your sign-in, whether Apple, Google or email
  • Your friend connections
  • Notification settings and device tokens

What stays

Expenses you added or were part of in shared groups stay in those groups, so the balances stay correct for everyone else. Your name on them is replaced with “Deleted user”.

Backups that contain your data are cleared within 30 days.

Before you delete

You need to be settled up in every group before you can delete your account. Deleting it removes the record in Doughie, but not what you and your friends owe each other.
